Polished Plaster
Our polished plasters have been used for striking effect in
shops, restaurants, hotels, offices and private dwellings.
We have highly water-resistant, monolithic finishes which
can be used instead of tiles in wet-rooms, shower areas and
swimming pools and all the polished plaster finishes have an
extensive colour range.
‘Portofino’ (Marmorino) can be
finished in a variety of effects: pitted, smooth, polished,
matt or stratus. These different textures can be combined
using banding, borders or other patterns and the colours can
be matched to existing schemes. Deeper colours can be
achieved with colour washing, while a pearlescent or
metallic powder adds lustre and sheen.
‘Pontormo’ (Spatulata) gives a smooth, polished finish with
a gentle mottling of colour.
‘Vitrino’ has been created by Franco Finishes using
traditional methods and has a highly glazed surface over a
natural stone finish. The aggregate can be seen through the
polished surface layers, giving depth and intensity.
